Do Your Research On His Poor Reviews

Do Your Research On This Attorney. A Google search will tell you how poorly they are reviewed. Do not use this attorney. They sent me the wrong "template" and when I found out what happened I was in an even bigger problem then the ticket. They then act like it was explained when it wasn't. When I ...I contracted with them the person I spoke to told me one thing and then they no longer work there so things changed. I will never use them again for a ticket. It was a complete waste of money to hire them. Read the other 1 star reviews and it will tell you the truth. Look up there reviews on other websites and you see how poorly this firm is reviewed by not only clients but other attorneys. He touts being a former judge but he resigned due to the scrutiny of a report of misconduct against him. Ultimately it was found to be false but he was per a report a controversial judge due to his sentencing practices for traffic violations.

Junk service, Childish resopnse, Waste of money

Most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. The service is a complete waste of money and time. My complaints about terrible communication and lack of effort, were met with an email from this child blaming ME for the issues (They got my email wrong, texted me about it with a message that literal...ly said "can not receive responses" and then blamed ME for not texting it back!) If you get a ticket do anything other than hire this guy. He will do nothing for you, but he's be happy to take your money and blame you for not knowing better than to give it to him

Joke of a "Lawyer"

DO NOT HIRE this law firm. They do NOTHING but take your money. I hired these people for a couple of traffic tickets. I get a letter in the mail a few weeks later with nothing done other then "pay these fees" and you'll be on probation. I didn't hire you to do exactly what I could have done myse...lf by simply WALKING into the courtroom. I hired you to help me get the tickets dismissed. NOTHING. A JOKE. You can't even talk to Mr. Byno. His office people say hes "too busy" to call you back. They transfer you to his "paralegal" assistant who "can answer the questions the same way as him." They also don't explain all your options in the consultation. I assumed (big mistake) they would try to go to a judge trial (like most competent offices do - you try to see if the cop shows up). They didn't try to do anything to get the case dismissed. If you hate your money, hire this firm.

I am sorry you were not satisfied. we tell our clients up front: I normally, charge $75 per offense if a case is not past due or in in warrant to negotiate with the prosecutor and/or court on your behalf to work out the best deal I can in a plea bargain. This may mean paying a fee to the court and it may or may not include a deferred adjudication (probation). If however, you would like a trial then I charge $500 as a trial fee. Further, If retained for a plea bargain, I will contact the court and notify them that I am your attorney. The court will respond back to me with a court date. Unless otherwise notified, defendants that retain an attorney normally do not need to appear in court. Your lawyer can do that for you. Our attorneys always look for a legal grounds for a dismissal, but if it is not present we will then seek to plea your case to the best deal available. If your case is not dismissed, I will then try and work out a deal to get you deferred adjudication (probation). The court can deny any request or add conditions to a probation. For example, if you are under 25 years old the State of Texas requires that you take a defensive driving class as a condition of probation. It does not matter if you have done the class in the last year. You can take it multiple times, as a condition of probation. Unless you retain us for a trial, there is no court date that the police officer that wrote the ticket must appear. Please keep in mind the following: just because you may not agree with the ticket, you think the ticket was written incorrectly, or the officer made some mistake, these are not legal grounds for a dismissal. These are trial issues. If you would like a trial we normally charge $500 for a bench trial in the DFW area traffic ticket courts. If your citation was in warrant, you would like a jury trial, or the ticket is in a court outside of our normal coverage area our fees may be more expensive. Obviously, there are never any guarantees to the outcome of a case, but most cases go through the courts without any problems. After, I have worked out the best deal I can for you, I will then send you a letter stating the outcome, how much your court fees are and when to pay them by. My attorney fees are not the court costs. By retaining me you are authorizing me to contact the court and prosecutor on your behalf, negotiate with the State, and sign any documents necessary in relation to the ticket. If you fail to follow my instructions on time then a warrant may issue for your arrest. If you move or change your contact information you must notify me in writing of the changes. If your follow these instructions, then there should not be a problem. Last, I am out of the office because I am in court, If you have questions for me, I ask all clients to follow the following: If you have any questions about the status of your case please contact my office at [email protected]. In the message bar please write, “STATUS UPDATE REQUEST.” Please leave your message in the following order: 1. Your name; 2. Your phone number; 3. The court in which your ticket is filed, and then 4. Your question. We return emails to those people who follow this request before those that do not because their files are easier to locate and exam. While my website is open 24/7, my office is open Monday - Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. The best time to call is between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm because in the afternoon we have many deadlines to make. In my business it seems most people wait until the last minute to give me their tickets. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Dont Hire This Attorney

I have a commercial license and was pulled over for speeding in Navarro County. I hired his office to take care of this matter and I never got a letter from him nor heard anything regarding my case, So I decided to contact them to find out what was going on regarding this matter and not one of the se...cretary's had a straight answer other then let me contact the court. upon supposedly contacting the court they came to a conclusion that they referred my case to another attorney that I didn't hire and she entered a plea of no contest without my consent and they found me guilty in pretrial. I asked why they didn't notify me of any of this matters and they couldn't come up with a quick enough answer which told me that they were looking for a lie to throw out. When I asked why they entered pleas on my behalf they said I didn't hire them for a trial which I thought I did but apparently they swear I didn't. When I asked to have the attorney contact me to explain this shady work of unethical practices they stated they would have him call me which I never received If you want to keep things off of your record don't hire this firm because they will not tell you nothing and will just do things that benefit them and not you.

I am sorry you are not satisfied, but lets start from the beginning. You hired our firm, Jack Byno & Associates, not one particular attorney. So it is true one of our associates may have gone to court and not Jack Byno personally. When our attorney went court they worked out the best they could because you hired us to plea your case, not for a trial. we tell all of our client when they retain us for a plea the following: If retained for a plea bargain, I will contact the court and notify them that I am your attorney. The court will respond back to me with a court date. Unless otherwise notified, defendants that retain an attorney normally do not need to appear in court. Your lawyer can do that for you. If you fail to follow my instructions on time then a warrant may issue for your arrest. If you move or change your contact information you must notify me in writing of the changes. If your follow these instructions, then there should not be a problem. You should plan from the moment you retain us for the worst case scenario: you may have to pay your full traffic ticket fine. If you plan for this in advance then you will not have a problem coming up with the money to pay the court. The most common reasons drivers are convicted include, but are not limited to: you are a CDL holder, your violations are deemed excessive by the court, your ticket has gone to warrant, you have multiple violations, you have a bad driving record, etc. We will do our best to negotiate on your behalf. However, there are no promises or guarantees to the outcome of your case. .

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
