I GOT MY DIVORCE

I hired Erika back in 2012 for a divorce. I was scared and worried because my ex-wife was a difficult person to deal with. Erika handled her like the professional she is. I got what was rightfully mine at the end of the day. She is highly skilled in negotiating with difficult individuals and she ...was easy to talk to and work with. I would definitely hire her again!

Life after 50

I went to Erika with little hope and even less money. 30 years of unhappiness just kept spiraling downward, and I couldn’t stand it any longer. Broke but hopeful, I contacted Erika after consulting a friend who used her services. My “now ex” had all the cards (money, house, car, and fancy lawyer) It ...was such a long and ugly fight, I was ready to quit but Erika said “not a chance, he owes you..!” I’m so thankful now. I’ve got my share of what we amassed over 30 years and couldn’t be happier. She’s a fighter that doesn’t quit.

Low Quality Service like a Pinto car

I hired Erica patino to combat perjury which would easily be proved if she had ordered a background check on me. I hired her after I went to court for my first hearing for a divorce. I went to her office and I explained to her that the opposing attorney and her client had claimed that I had gone to j...ail at some point. I clearly told her why I was hiring her. She didn't bother to order a background check and she didn't bother to use all the other items such as being a teacher for 25 years and being a veteran for 12 years being awarded my child from another relationship until he was out of school. She is very lazy and only helps who she wants when she wants to. I also the valid restraining order on someone and I asked her to ask the court if I could sell my separate property. In addition to that I asked her to help me with enforcing custody of my child. All these things she did not do even though I asked her. For the custody enforcement instead she asked the opposing attorney if my wife had given me my child and of course my wife told her yes however I told her assistant that I had gone home without my child because my wife refused to give him to me. And her assistant said she would let her know.A so she claims she was told by the opposing attorney and that's okay I guess for her instead of checking with me and checking with her assistant if I had received my child that day. She is a horrible attorney and she uses profanity when she talks to you. I don't appreciate that from an attorney I expect professionalism. And finally in addition to all that she is a liar. She claims that I didn't want to pay her her money even though I fired her and I never said that. I only was giving her less money than I agreed to because I could only give her that much. But I did tell her when I sell my house I would pay her everything. She will not act in your best interest.

Terrible experience

After being date raped and abused for 30 years by a rotten man. I finally found my way out. The emotional trauma is what keeps you in. I hired Erika and believed she would help and fight for me. She said she would not back down because of all the evidence that I had on abuse and cheating from the x. ... He agreed to have a negotiation Erika advised and brought a negotiator. This was done during Covid. All over the computer. During the negotiations EVERYTHING she had promised was forgotten and I was left to feel like all I was was nothing a stay at home mom while he worked and deserved nothing. Erika is NOT a mother and wife and has zero empathy or compassion for the family or job. I didn’t even get what the state of Tx requires for child support was grossly negligent in alimony for my x makes over $450 thousand and 30 years of marriage . Tx law is $5000 a month for 10 years. I got less than half for 5 years. Simple Tx law and Erika failed to support who hired her. She sucks I would not recommend her to anyone. Lies to you and bills you for terrible service.

Do NOT Hire her!

I hired Erika Patino on a annullment/child custody case in 2016, of which i had to ultimately end up firing her. Erika not only did not handle my case properly but she was also not knowledgeable enough to defend me in court. Upon hiring her, she claimed to be well versed in immigration and family la...w so i asked her if an annulment would be possible of which she agreed it would. In prepration for my annullment case, Patino asked for several character witnesses, i gave her their contact info and she never even called them. On the day of the hearing, she came into the room and told me "Ok, i just want you to know that there has never been a successful case for annulment with children involved." Erika knew that I had no chance of winning an annulment case but decided to go through the motions to get more money from me. While in the hearing, Patino was out lawyered, and unprepared. Patino done an awful job in court, and displayed no lawyering skills at all. Also, after i had already paid her she spoke to me and my family in a very condesending manner, not professional at all. I am writing this review to warn others of her lackluster skills, please be advised she is not able to hold her own in court and don't waste your money or time hiring her. She will promise to know all that is required for your case but will not deliver.
