Family 35%

Family law includes marriage, divorce, SAPCRs, civil unions, domestic partnerships, separation, property settlements, abuse and family violence, adoption, child or spousal support, child custody and even kidnapping. If you need help with a family-related legal issue, a family law attorney can advise in family disputes as well as represent you in lawsuits.

35%
Criminal Defense 30%

If you are suspected of a crime or charged with a violation of law, you may require the services of a criminal defense attorney to protect and defend you. You should seek a criminal defense attorney who has worked on your particular type of case to provide you with the best defense. An experienced criminal defense attorney knows what information the DA's, State or Government will need to prove your guilt. Your attorney should know what you need to prove your innocence, and defend you.

30%
Litigation 15%

If you have to sue, you will need a civil lawyer who specializes in the litigation process and understands all of the ins and outs of the courtroom. A litigation lawyer can also help you decide whether your case is appropriate for a lawsuit, or if it might be better handled through the mediation or arbitration process. A civil litigation lawyer will research the facts that caused the dispute, and analyze them to identify the appropriate law and how it applies.

15%
DUI and DWI 10%

In Texas, if you are suspected of driving while impaired due to alcohol or drugs, you may be arrested for DWI (driving while intoxicated-which is called DUI in most states). A DWI conviction has serious consequences (for example, losing your driving privileges, paying huge fines, or even jail time); but an experienced defense attorney can often get the charges dropped or reduced, or may be able to negotiate lesser penalty.

10%
White Collar Crime 10%

White collar crime defines a criminal activity, usually economic crimes and frauds, committed without using violence. Examples include insider trading, insurance fraud, tax fraud, securities and investment fraud, and identity theft. Your lawyer must be familiar with the prosecution's style of negotiating and trying white collar crimes. You should hire a lawyer with enough knowledge about the particular charges to analyze your situation and to identify the best defense for your case.

Great attorney

I used Trey for a consult and I was impressed with willingness to talk through my issues and the amount of time he spent with me. Luckily I didn’t end up needing his services but would use him in a heartbeat

A GREAT ATTORNEY!

Trent helped my son with a probation case. He was able to get the revocation dismissed. He was very attentive, helpful and is a very nice man. He has great knowledge of the law and the workings of the courts in Tarrant County. I could not be more grateful to him!

Grateful for honest attorney

I went through a long nasty divorce and Trey was there from day one. He helped me work through the whole process that lasted over 2 years. He worked extremely hard on my behalf and was always respectful to me and my family. He repeatedly gave me good advice on how to handle some of the most stressful... situations not only with my husband at the time but also afterwards when the divorce was final. He was competitive and tough with my ex-husband’s difficult attorney. Trey was fair and always available for me to reach. His staff was beyond awesome. I know as a female to hire an attorney for a divorce is very terrifying, but I do not have any regrets hiring Trey. He was honest and up front about all possible outcomes.

Current Client of Trey Lofton

Over 10 months ago, I received Trey as a court appointed attorney. I was scared at what I would have to deal with, but Trey has proven to be one of the best attorneys I could have asked for. My situation ended up being mis-handled after almost fatal health issues. He took interest in my case and help...ing me get the best results I could possibly get. It has been a long process, but there is no doubt he is willing to do anything and everything to get into a trial so I can have the best results possible. Because he was court appointed, Trey has been a blessing to my case. I would highly recommend Trey as an attorney to anyone in need. He has been fun and enjoyable to work with. I can't believe his commitment and determination to help me. Thank you Trey!!!

A God send of an attorney...

Trey was an absolute God-send of an attorney. He represented me and my kids and got me more visitation than I even asked for originally. He handled my case with professionalism and let me know at this low point in my life that I was going to be okay. I knew he was right hire for me when he said "I... hate divorce; but we are here and I am going to take care of you." Another example of why I would recommend Trey Loftin was when we went to court. He literally told opposing counsel how it would play out. They didn't believe him and it happened exactly as he described. He knows the law, he knows what is fair and he will fight for you.
