I've

I've had the opportunity to observe Amy in CPS court (Judge Lockwood) on several occasions. Amy always comes to court prepared and she advocates for her clients. I have recently had the chance to get to know Amy by working directly with her on a CPS case. Amy did an excellent job in advocating for he...r clients in a meeting. She is personable, a lady and a great representation in court.

Conflict of interest

Amy was hired to represent child in a custody battle. She said she would see the child weekly and by herself and that never happened. She saw the child 1x alone and 1x with other parent present in the room. She doesn't care what children tell her or should tell her she doesn't want to hear it from ...them. She focus on things that are from a past and not things happening in the present. She has her own CPS worker that she is good friends with from a county that is not either party location to do the interview and they side with each other. She is not professional and she will tell you to do 1 thing then when she sends msg to judge its total opposite. I dont recommend that type lawyer for anyone. She needs to be reviewed on her family law values and stop getting by bc she donates to the children's protective agency. Seems like buying herself in . Bot professional at all and quite rude to ppl.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
