Board Certified in Family Law

I retained Scott in April of 2021 for a divorce. I kept my situation with my spouse a secret from family and friends. I didn't know where to go or who to retain. I consulted with Scott because he is board certified in family law. I found my situation emotionally difficult and I had a hard time think...ing clearly and logically. Scott helped me think of things that I would have never thought of without the guidance of an attorney.

Expertise

I have used Mr. Stover for both a detailed business partnership contract as well as consultation for personal family matters and found him to be very diligent in his research, recommendations and execution. He also won a judgment against a very high profile security industry provider, defending one o...f their clients in part using my company's professional opinion on the matter, which to me proved his dedication to the case cause.

Great Business Attorney

I have worked with Mr. Stover for the past three years. Mr. Stover has handled a real estate transaction and several business contracts for me. Mr. Stover is personable and easy to work with. In my opinion, Mr. Stover’s greatest asset is his ability to come up with ideas that others haven’t though...t of. Any attorney can have a legal assistant draw up contracts with pre-canned legal language, but Mr. Stover puts his personal touch on everything that he does. I recommend Mr. Stover to anyone who is in need of a business or family law attorney.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
