I dealt with Mr Jackson through his Jackson Abstract & Title Company where he is the attorney who decides what additional paperwork needs to be created. We had POA already created using the Tx Bar Template. Mr Jackson wouldn't accept and required we pay him an additional fee to recreate from the same... source -- he wouldn't/couldn't advise what our document was missing. His staff advised we needed additional documents that had not been needed with other properties sold and defied normal logic and legal need. They claimed docs were just for their records but in the end we paid to have them all recorded. Additionally, it took over 10 weeks to process title. Mr Jackson would only speak through his staff and then only after 2-3 calls in. Staff would advise they would check with him and call back. They didn't. Getting documents returned required 4 calls in to office.
