Mr. Woods is a native of Tyler. Texas. Mr. Woods earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University where he served as a staff writer for, The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice. During law school Mr. Woods clerked for The Honorable Robert Junell, United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas; The Honorable Marialyn Barnard, Texas Fourth Court of Appeals; and the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Texas. During law school Mr. Woods also worked for General Counsel at Hess Energy Corporation in Houston, Texas.
Before law school Mr. Woods worked as a Petroleum Landman in the oil and gas industry, and also served in the Peace Corps in Ukraine.
