I am honestly going to say I was scared when he was hired as my attorney. I couldn't even imagine that things will go as planned but this man Mr Platten took all my stress away. I would recommended him to anybody that's in a situation they can't get themesleves out of. He's kinda on the pricey side ...but he's willing to work with you and it was worth every dime and I mean every hard working dime. I don't even live in this state and I traveled from NY just so Mr Platten can represent me and did and outstanding job. You will not go wrong with hiring him.

October 2016, I was pulled over in Tyler Texas on suspicion of a DWI. Having never been arrested before, I didn’t handle the situation very well. When taken to jail, the officer told me I would lose my driver’s license for 90 days if I signed permission to take a blood /breathalyzer test, and... 180 days if I didn’t sign. Mr Platton stuck with me all the way to the end. I was charged with 2nd DWI and felony evading arrest with a motor vehicle. What could have ended up being 10 years probation with a felony conviction ended up being 14 months probation and a few weekends in jail. Although I am innocent on the evadin...g arrest Eric advised me that the safest option would be a deferred adjudicated felony with 2 years probation that or put my fate in the hands of a jury. I chose the 2 year probation which was plea bargained down from a 10 year probation the DA was trying to get. Mr Platton promised to get me early termination and he did!! I will follow up on the outcome of a excessive force case Mr. Platton is working on. The cops threw me down on the ground by tripping me up smashed my face in the rocks scraped and bruised my face broke my prescription glasses and shattered my Iphone. All of this with no resistance whatsoever. Stay clear of Smith County justice system it's not worth it. Thanks to Mr. Platton it could have been a lot worse!!

In 2014 I got pulled over and charged with a DWI in Denton, TX. I did not feel like I was impaired at all otherwise I wouldn't have gotten behind the wheel.
