What happens when you hire this lawyer in a divorce case? My son was served paperwork and we hired Griffin and Melton to represent. They NEVER filed a response. Talk about legal malpractice. We paid their firm to just allow the other party... his ex who is mentally unstable to keep the kids and only ...allow my son supervised visitation... We hired both attorneys at this law firm. Neither of them filed the response. Two lawyers and neither of them could get the job started let alone completed. If you want to lose your kids.... Hire Allison Melton. John Griffin responded to his review that I was not the client. Technically correct. My son was the client. He also wants to talk about the court case being complicated. It is a basic thing.... you have to file a response or else, you are allowing the other party to win by default. The facts remain... you have to file a response. This is a basic thing. To not due this it is called legal malpractice. They should know the basics on the requirements for being a lawyer and the basic things that that need to file and when it should be filed. To miss an important date is legal malpractice. What is stupid is to bill for drafts for things but to never file a dang thing... To let the date come and go. Thank God we went to another lawyer.
