Catherine Coppedge Bateman

I hired Katherine Bateman to represent me in a Wood County case involving a probation warrant. When officers arrived at a residence to arrest another individual, I was found in the attic. Another person with a warrant was also present on the opposite side of the attic, though I had no knowledge of th...is. I was charged with hindering a known felon and spent nearly a year in Wood County jail before receiving a court date. Ms. Bateman did not secure a dismissal of the charge or reinstatement of my probation. This was my first significant legal issue and I had a limited prior record. In my view, the outcome should have been more favorable. I would not recommend Katherine Bateman.
