Kristen Ishihara listened carefully during our initial meeting to quickly identify why our previous efforts to apply for elder assistance were unsucessful. She applied her broad knowledge of elder law to re-apply and received approval for Medicaid. She also prepared documents that were very helpful... in treating real assets in accordance with available state and federal laws. She prepared new documents to reflect a recent death in the family. She was responsive and prompt in preparing all doucuments and she took time to explain why each document was preapred in the manner it was. Before we engaged Kristen, our progress was slow and painful, but she patiently changed that with a more knowledgeble and experienced approach to elder law issues. I was referred to Kristen by our attorney​. I needed an attorney to advise me regarding my 89 year old mom and Medicaid rules and regulations. Kristen proved to be an expert on the subject. My mother is getting along in years and needed some legal matters updated. Kristen Ishihara's team accomplished this and even delivered it to mom for signatures. We had also been trying to get financial aid from the V.A. for mom because of dad's time in service. We tried, without success for almost ...2 years, We turned to Kristen for help with this. I am not sure what forms, or what letters they submitted, but within 8 months, the V.A. approved and started sending much needed aid.
