The kid should be priority

Sarah was involved in a divorce case by my ex over 8 years ago. I appreciated a third party involvement. I saw her once alone for about 30 minutes. She came and saw my kids at my house once for about 15 minutes at my house. She had multiple visits with kids dad. She drove my kids to court hearing. He...r decision in that limited time determined her suggestion to the court. As someone who has the influence on kids lives, they should definitely take that responsibility more seriously. Two out of 3 of my kids haven’t had contact with their dad shortly after a few forced visits. One visit caused my son to be arrested because he didn’t want to be there and his dad called the police on him. Years later I’m still the only one helping those kids work through life. Her recommendation meant he didn’t pay child support and got 50/50 violation. Cool. It wasn’t about money for me. I solo paid for 3 teens. I’d do anything for my kids. I just would like to think that someone in her position to influence kids lives would be more aware of people who can put on a good show and realize the difference between parents who genuinely care for their kids outcomes. 50/50 can be an easy call when both parents have to pay her. That’s about as easy as a judge flipping a count. This job should be taken seriously.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
