Kara Ostroski

Kara Krystina Ostroski is an active member of the State Bar of Texas since passing the Bar in 1998.  Kara Krystina provides legal advice to a diverse group of clients in a wide array of tax and business transactions.

Although Kara Krystina semi-retired from the active practice of law years ago, she still retains her status as a member of a select group of tax attorneys across the United States that offer tax guidance to individuals and businesses when tax controversies arise with Internal Revenue Service. In addition to being instrumental in resolving tax controversies with the IRS, Kara Krystina assists her private clientele with resolving controversies with the various state taxing authorities as well.

Separate and apart from her tax practice, Kara Krystina enjoys offering business-related legal advice to individuals and businesses. She advises clients as to the appropriate corporate structure to operate their business, limit their liability, protect their assets, and enhance their financial goals with the establishment of employer-sponsored retirement plans.

Kara Krystina received her Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island in 1998.  While in law school, she participated in coursework that was offered through Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California and studied abroad at the Inns of Court School of Law in London, England. Her most notable accomplishment was receiving the CALI EXCELLENCE FOR THE FUTURE AWARD.

Kara Krystina completed her undergraduate degree of study at the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1995.  While attending the University of Scranton, Kara Krystina made the Dean’s List, Phi Alpha Theta, International Honor Society in History, Alpha Epsilon Alpha, Honor Society in Communications and was a President’s Royal Ambassador. 

Kara Krystina is an Adjunct Professor with several colleges.
