Cade Siler Kauffman

My name is Cade Kauffman and my practice consists of general civil litigation including buisness & comercial law, family law, real estate, bankruptcy, probate and estate administration.

I grew up in Midland, Texas and graduated from Midland Lee High School before attending Texas Tech University. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Business, I received a scholarship to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where I earned my J.D. a semester early. While in law school, I served as a Deputy Marshal for the City of Norman as well as completing a clerkship with a premier Oklahoma firm, Phillips & Associates. I was actively involved in OU Law’s pro bono programs, working with the Victim’s Protection Order program and a member of the international law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta.

Upon successfully completing the Texas Bar Exam, I founded my own firm in Odessa, Texas, Bickham & Kauffman, representing a variety of clients in civil and family law matters. Prior to joining the Law Office of Sean Chalaki and Associates, P.C. in 2015, I was an associate at Brockett & McNeel in Midland representing clients in numerous complex civil litigation disputes, real estate, family law, bankruptcy and estate and probate issues.

I have experience with all aspects of the litigation process, both state and federal, from the initial pleadings through trial, including discovery, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, obtaining and defending against injunctive relief, defending and deposing key witnesses in depositions and at trial, and drafting appellate briefs. I also handl complex domestic relations matters ranging from financial disputes to high-conflict child custody matters and bankruptcy, as an attorney for creditors.

When I am away from the office, I enjoy spending time with his Dallas-native wife, Abbie, and our three rescue dogs- Rebel, Remi and Raider. i am an avid hunter and a practicing brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
