Craig Randall Novak

Craig primarily focuses on representing high-value commercial and residential real estate holders. As Sr. Managing Partner at Sprigg-Novak Law Firm, PLLC, he brings over 500 court appearances across municipal, justice, county, district, and federal courts in Texas — delivering the courtroom depth that complex real estate disputes require.
Craig's real estate litigation practice covers HOA disputes, easements, encroachments, trespass, post-purchase defect and non-disclosure claims, brokerage fee disputes, leasehold damage and repair matters, evictions, and debt collection. He has also represented commercial roofing contractors in payment disputes. Whether a matter is resolved through negotiation or litigation, Craig's approach is strategic and results-driven.
Before joining Sprigg-Novak, Craig practiced at an AV-rated firm handling family law, debt collection, probate, and criminal litigation — a broad foundation that sharpens the way he approaches real estate cases today.
Craig holds a Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, where he served as a Law Review member and published academic work in the American University Washington College of Law journal. He also holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University. Prior to law, Craig was recognized as one of Hewlett Packard's top 10 System Engineers for North and South America.
He is an active member of the Dallas, Denton, and Collin County Bar Associations, a former three-year Board of Directors member of the Collin County Bar Association, and a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas. He has been featured in the UK Daily Mail and spoken at the Texas Apartment Association One Conference on real estate law.
