If he is on probation he is convicted for immigration purposes. And it depends on what the offense, not really whether it is a felony or not.

It is not likely your green card will be canceled but you will have to start the five years for naturalization over again.

Your F-1 status is not active. You were admitted as a parolee and that does not change by itself. Which school told you that?

You should file under the five year rule so you don’t have to prove up the marriage and you count from the date you received conditional residence.
