Since you cannot sponsor her father anyway, it won't matter if you withdraw a case that cannot be approved. Or leave it alone and get a denial. Or...

The first thing is to explain what LTC means. All Convictions count in immigration proceedings unless reopened and dismissed which didn't happen here
