Richard C. McConathy is a Criminal Defense Attorney in Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving, Denton and Collin County areas of Texas. He righteously defends people in matters of criminal law including DUI, DWI, white collar crimes, assault, burglary, drug possession and trafficking. He practices at municipal level and handles state appeals.
Richard McConathy earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas.
Upon graduation from law school in 2002, McConathy opened his own private practice, McConathy Law Office. McConathy is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the Northern District of Texas, where he tries federal criminal cases.
Richard McConathy is a member of the Irving Bar Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association, and the Texas Criminal Lawyers’ Association. Richard was the treasurer for the Dallas Bar Association Criminal Law Section from 2004-2006.
In 2011 Richard was awarded by Texas Monthly as a Rising Star. In 2012 he was again awarded as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers.

Great Salesman, apathetic Lawyer.
