Saved my Life

As a single mother, money can be very tight and life overly stressful. I got myself into a bad situation thinking I could make some easy money with a friend. Was I wrong! I was so stupid in not realizing I was really looking at some jail time. I sat up most nights after my arrests thinking who was go...ing to take care of my kids if I was sent away for a long time. Thank God I found Richard McConathy. He took my case with a great payment plan I could afford and was always on myside in the case and with my money issues. After it was all done I never spent a day in jail and I was never convicted of a felony. I've got a new lease on life thanks to him. If your like me and your kids are all you got and need help, Richard is the lawyer you need.

Save your money

I can't say their winning percentage is a lie but I can assure you that they never once attempted to contact me about my case during the 13 Months prior to trial. On two of the three court appearances Brian Bolton showed up in jeans, I wish he cared enough about my case to at the very least dress the... part. And even though I hand delivered my arrest video the day I signed the contract it took them 7 MONTHS to watch it. I feel like they took advantage of me at a time when in was looking for hope, and I sincerely regret hiring them. They are nothing but money sharks that couldn't care less about you. And I'm sorry to say I got the same deal a free court appointed attorney would have gotten me. Terrible law firm!!!!!!

So far very pleased

I have retained Richard for a multiple felony cases. It’s still early in the pre trial phase and this isn’t my first rodeo. I have had court appointment lawyers and paid defense. Richard has once never promised anything and is definitely good at under promising and over delivering at this point (s...ome may not understand this as a good thing). I had been arrested for a new cases while on bond for a F1. Richard got me a bond hearing in less than two weeks to get my bond reinstated so that I could resume my life and get back to my business which I employ over 24 people and I’m beyond blessed I didn’t sit a month waiting on a bond hearing like others in the jail had told me. Richard visited me 2x in that period and had one of his lawyers who I was very impressed with handle my bond hearing. He spent over 90 minutes in the Attorney visitation preparing me for my hearing. Several people told me their lawyer didn’t visit them once before a bond hearing. I picked Richard not only for good reviews but I actually liked the fact he has multiple lawyers in his firm. When you have multiple cases it can be good to have multiple lawyers reviewing your case. At least in my experience. I know their are some small one lawyer firms that are awesome but I see this as pro. Also for me he has a TON of experience in Dallas and Collin counties where my cases are which was important for me retaining him. Also his partner has a lot of Dallas County experience. One of my charges is a 3RD DWI which is an F3. So I feel I have the right defense/law firm for my situation. As of right now I might have a shot at probation or I could be going to state prison but Richard has not once promised or guaranteed anything in regards to the outcomes even with how much I have pressed him for one. So that’s a good thing from my experience. Also I have a large bill but Richard is working with me and his terms are reasonable. Just pay balance in full when the case is ready to be disposed. Pretty fair to me. Back to the bond hearing...I was arrested on Friday and Richard was there Monday to get me in front of judge. He had me then set for May 9th but got it move up 2 1/2 weeks which was huge weight off my shoulders. His law firm also called my girlfriend regularly giving her updates and they could always be reached. I know I bounced around a lot but so far I’m happy I have retained his law firm. Oh and also after my 3rd DWI arrest they were already on the ball and got my hearing set up to be scheduled so I can keep my license while on bond. I’m not sure the folks who mentioned lack of communication or all he cares about is money. At the end of the day this is a business and they have to be paid. Yes his pricing for a basic retainer (no trial etc....) is on the higher end but as I mentioned I see my money being put to work. Anyone who says they are better off with a court appointed good luck!!! I saw dudes who had been waiting on bond hearing for 45 days and couldn’t get ahold of their lawyer. We are talking about your freedom and financial ruin while awaiting a case. I’m happy I got Richard defending me and my freedoms for my cases. I will update with the outcomes and I’m sure they will be great as I know Richard wants what’s best for his clients as I already saw him in action with my recent no bond hold in Collin county.

my personal lawyer for life

Keep this guys number in your phone. Met him at a party a few years back and figured that it wouldn't hurt to keep his contact. I'm glad I did. He got me out of jail within a few hours so i didn't miss work and took the bull by the horns from there. From start to finish Richard had total control of m...y case. I never had to worry about what was happening. After a year we set it for trial and we got a dismissal when the jury was in the hallway about to come into the court room. Even the judge said it was some strong legal work and I was luck that I had Richard as my lawyer. My personal lawyer for life!
