Biography
Roy Petty is in his 19th year of hosting "La Hora Legal" (Legal Hour), a Spanish language radio program advising immigrants on important issues in immigration and consumer rights. The program airs in the Dallas metroplex.
Roy has worked to stop those who illegally practice immigration law and have defrauded immigrants. He has obtained restitution for his clients from illegal immigration consultants and from unscrupulous lawyers.
Roy has testified in federal court as an expert witness in immigration matters on behalf of the Texas Attorney General and the Federal Public Defenders Office.
He has litigated complex immigration cases in federal court and the Courts of Appeals. Through his cases, the Dallas Immigration Office no longer may deny naturalization because of one or more DWI offenses.
With 26 years of experience, Roy Petty is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has litigated naturalization and citizenship cases in federal courts; and through his litigation, has overturned residency and naturalization denials.

MY HUSBAND WAS OUT OF JAIL IN LESS THAN A DAY AND NOT DEPORTED
I RECOMMEND ROY PETTY TO ANYONE. I MET WITH HIM ON A SUNDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS SINCE I COULD NOT GET A RIDE ANY OTHER DAY. MY HUSBAND GOT RELEASED FROM JAIL MONDAY AND IMMIGRATION WAS NOT GOING TO DEPORT HIM. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
