Robert H. Rogers

            D Magazine featured Bob as one of the best criminal defense attorneys of 2009. Bob has successfully defended citizens for over 23 years throughout Texas in state and federal court.  He has argued before the Court of Criminal Appeals, the Fifth Circuit, and many of the district Courts of Appeals.  He has tried jury trials at every jurisdictional level.  Bob knows each case is unique in its facts and circumstances, so every client’s strategy is specific to their individual needs, constructed from sound legal analysis and grounded on broad-based experience. 

            In addition to his defense practice, he has used the criminal and civil courts to protect clients from extortion and threats of violence.  For example, if your corporation has recently had a problem with an employee or ex-employee, Bob has a team that can quickly come in to assess the situation to determine what level of response is needed.  That response can involve collecting and assessing evidence, coordinating with police or other law enforcement authorities, and using the courts to bar the individual from any contact with the corporation.   Bob has also been effective in preventing persons from exerting improper influence on elderly or mentally infirm family members.
