Steven John Kubik

Steven Kubik is the founder and managing member at Kubik Law Firm, PLLC. Mr. Kubik primarily advises clients on recent laws and regulations governing residential lending, and ensures the Firm provides timely loan closing documents with precision. Mr. Kubik also represents mortgage lenders and other commercial institutions in variety of litigation matters in both state and federal courts. 

Prior to founding Kubik Law Firm, Mr. Kubik practiced as a commercial litigator at a large law firm in downtown Dallas, Texas. His practice area included general defensive litigation, lender liability defense, federal and state securities fraud defense, commercial debt collection, wrongful-foreclosure, contract disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty defense.

Mr. Kubik graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law with the highest honors, summa cum laude, and was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review. During law school, Mr. Kubik also served indigent clients in litigation matters as a member of the Texas Tech Civil Practice Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. At Notre Dame, Mr. Kubik was a second team All-American member of the varsity fencing team, winning a team NCAA National Championship his senior year.
