I hired Kristina Whittenburg through Marble Law as co-counsel. All money was paid and the contract went into place on November 4, 2024. I hired her to file a motion to compel initial disclosures before my case was due to be dismissed from the court docket. She did NOT do that and my case was dismiss...ed from the docket on November 15, 2024. Over a month later, she filed a motion to reinstate my case WITHOUT my permission. I never received any responses to my inquiries during this entire time. I had to reach out to the court directly to let them know. Even after my case was dismissed, I received an email from Brian Vander Plaats at Texas Lending (to an email address I only use when there’s likely to be spam or my information shared) at the end of November but when I did not respond, Kristina Whittenburg was included in his next email on December 17, 2024. How on earth did that happen? How does an attorney who never took over as my counsel, wind up on an email with Texas Lending? Needless to say, I contacted my bank, filed a dispute, sent the contract to them, and my money was refunded.
