I was hit by other car and hired this lawyer. But this lawyer had been sitting on my case for 23 months since then and suddenly dropped my case. When I received my files (medical billing statements, etc) from him with his release letter, I found even paperworks had not been finilazied. I also susp...ect this lawyer did not even contact other car's insurance company for settlement. As Texas law allows 24 months for settlement (I lose my settlement right 24 months after the date of accident), I dont have enough time to settle my case now. I am going through tough time. I really hope this kind of thing never happens to me again as well as to other people. I am preparing for filing my story to the "State Bar of Texas".
