I used Chis 3 years ago. He was kind of good at the beginning. However, the car accident case is been 3 years. I don't know what to do now. He said the case is being close, but I never see the check nor money. He was saying the compensation should be come out shortly at January 2012. Now, it's... almost April 2012, I still have not see any response.

I was hit by other car and hired this lawyer. But this lawyer had been sitting on my case for 23 months since then and suddenly dropped my case. When I received my files (medical billing statements, etc) from him with his release letter, I found even paperworks had not been finilazied. I also susp...ect this lawyer did not even contact other car's insurance company for settlement. As Texas law allows 24 months for settlement (I lose my settlement right 24 months after the date of accident), I dont have enough time to settle my case now. I am going through tough time. I really hope this kind of thing never happens to me again as well as to other people. I am preparing for filing my story to the "State Bar of Texas". Bob: You also need to report your story to the "State Bar of Texas" as that will be the best what you can do to make Chris Yu pay for what he did to you.

No matter how big he posts ads on local newspapers, don't assume he is a good lawyer. Neither he kept me informed nor responded to my questions or concerns. He kept saying "just wait. there is nothing we can do. If they delay, we have to go to trial" and did not do what he supposed to do. He did not ...do anything to investigate the case but collected materials from me and insurance companies, even for a witness statement. He had no idea how he could make the opposite party accept a responsibility or what to prepare for the next step. When the opposite party denied its responsibility for the accident, he simply withdrew his representation on my behalf without giving me an explanation. He and his assistant will complain about your calls not being responsive to your inquiries and will blame you when things are not going well. If you still try to find a reason for hiring him as your representative, listen to others about his work.
