MIRACLE WORKER, FINALLY WON MY CASE AFTER 15 YEARS BATTLE WITH ICE

I was referred to the law offices of Valko and Chavez by another attorney in Dallas who i had gone to seek assistance from concerning my immigration case. I met Mr. Chavez in 2007 following a remand of my case from the Fifth Circuit Court, see Omari v. Gonzales(2005). After the remand from the court ...i appeared pro se before the Immigration Judge(IJ) for cancellation of removal, by then i had been detained by ICE for almost four years and had exhausted my finances, after a series of hearings the IJ granted me Cancellation of Removal, the DHS appealed the decision on grounds that the IJ abused his own discretion I was ordered deported, what followed was another Petition for Review before the appeals court, there the court decided that I had not exhausted my Administrative Remedies since my previous lawyer failed to raise that issue before the IJ. After my attorneys then Jennifer Depalma of Om'yleven and Mayers submitted the petition the DHS agreed that my Fifth Degree conviction under Minnesota was not a Crime Involving Moral Turpitude(CIMT), on October the Board remanded the case back to the IJ and DHS was given an opportunity to provide more evidence to proof that my conviction was a CIMT after a series of hearings, the IJ disregarded the IJ's and ordered my removal again. I once again hired Mr. Chavez to represent me before the Board because I had a lot of faith in him after following his previous arguments before the Board. On April 28, 2017 the Board of Immigration Appeals agreed with Mr. Chavez's arguments and sustained our appeal and terminated Removal Proceedings, I can assure anybody with any Immigration issue to contact the Law Offices of Valko and Chavez, Mr. Chavez being Certified in Immigration Law knows the ropes when it comes to immigration matters. I highly recommend this law firm, try them out and you will the real positive results. Thanks Mr. Chavez and your team for a well done job!!!!!.

Real Professionalism

Nick Chavez and his appellate team has been the best choice I could have made to represent me in my legal matter. I received an excellent service providing me not only with legal advice, hard professional work, ease of reach but also with a piece of mind knowing my case will be handled the best way ...there is! Thank you!!!

A NIGHTMARE TURNED INTO A DREAM!

We do not have words to express our gratitude for all the hard work that was done to over turn my husbands immigration case. From day one when our families lives turned into a nightmare Chavez & Valko were there to guide us. It was a long painful processes but we deposited all of our faith in ou...r lawyers. We worked with them and gave them all the information they needed to make a strong case. First, my husband had to appear in court. He was denied the cancellation of deportation petition. We did not know what to do!! As a family we decided to get a second, third and fourth opinion. I visited many Immigration lawyers with no luck! We then realized we needed nothing else but to continue with Chavez & Valko. My husband asked Mr. Chavez to proceed with the appeal. Mr. Chavez had to apply for cancellation of deportation to the BIA (Board of Immigration Appeals) therefore, he began to prepared the appeal brief to proceeded. By this time, Mr. Chavez was on a deadline to submit the brief. The Chavez & Valko team is very knowledgeable and know exactly how the process works. Mr. Chavez finalized all documents and sent them off......it was the longest four weeks of our lives. I will never forget the day Mr. Chavez called me to let us know that the case had been overturned by the BIA (Board of Immigration Appeals. It was a very happy day for the whole family and all friends that had been there for us during this trying time. We will always be grateful to the Chavez & Valko TEAM. I will always recommend Chavez & Valko as one of the best Immigration firms to my friends, family and my community. A phone call from Chavez & Valko that turned a nightmare to a dream!! Three things you need to get through an immigration process (from experience): 1. Hope 2. Prayer 3. Chavez & Valko

#1 Immigration Attorney

My family and I arrived in the U.S. in 1984 as refuges from Iran. Soon after our arrival, we hired an attorney. After working with him for five years, he was unsuccessful at helping us. Consequently, we hired a new attorney only to face yet another unsuccessful attempt gaining a resident status. Prio...r to working with Mr. Chavez, we went through six attorneys, as our case was extremely complicated. Even though several appeals had been made by our previous attorneys for a motion to reopen our case, they were always denied. We were being forced to do a voluntary deportation. Every year after the September 11th tragedy occurred, the immigration laws became stricter and our lives were impacted even more. Due to our status, we were slowly losing all of our rights. Before September 11, we had no trouble working and never had to check in with immigration but after, our lives were never the same. Due to these newly enforced laws we were under strict ICE supervision. We worked with the Chavez and Valko firm for a few years and through hard work, dedication, determination and devotion to our case, Mr. Chavez was able to reopen our case. At this point Mr. Gary Frost was the attorney handling our case. One thing we can say about Mr. Frost is that he is very diligent and was always the most prepared person in the courtroom. He was ready for anything and was well respected by the judge. Both Mr. Chavez and Mr. Frost were honest and open about everything pertaining to our case. They were thorough in their explanations regarding the steps taken with our case. They are a very organized firm and keep clients posted on every detail of their case. Because Mr. Chavez's perseverance and thanks to Mr. Frost's endless preparation of our case, we were grated our green cards after being in this country for over twenty five years. What separates Mr. Chavez from our past attorney's is that he puts his heart into his work and is compassionate. He cares about his clients and he genuinely desires a happy ending just as much as we did. I recommend the Chavez and Valko Firm to anyone seeking legal residence. Having dealt with several other attorneys I can honestly say that they are the best!
