As a native of Dallas, I am pleased to be able to represent clients from Dallas County, Collin County and Denton County, including the communities of Garland, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Denton, Mesquite and McKinney.
My degrees are from Southern Methodist University (SMU). I’ve been practicing law, in and out of the courtroom, since 1977. I began my practice as a criminal lawyer and have moved to include the area of family law as the major part of my practice. We handle divorce, child custody and division of property and many other marriage- and child-related issues on a daily basis.

Attorney Nancy Huggins is an amazing lawyer! In 1997, she helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life, in dealing with a horrible child custody case. She was attentive to my needs, compassionate about what I was going through and steadfast on ensuring my rights during this matter for the entire year and a half it took to resolve. If you are looking for someone to have your best interest and represent you with class, couth and tact, not to mention who is fully aware of the law, then Attorney Higgins is the person. Caring and Understaining
Nancy helped me through a very difficult time in my life. She was recommended to me by a friend in Dallas who went through a divorce a few years ago. Everything my friend told me Nancy lived up to. She was very caring, understanding, and professional. Thanks for all your help Nancy!
