Colorado native, Ashleigh Renfro, graduated from Texas Tech University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and Marketing. After graduating from Texas Tech, Ashleigh moved to Dallas, Texas, to accept the position of Marketing Director for a Texas-based department store chain. It was this position that allowed her to work directly with the owners and business leaders of the company and develop a deeper appreciation for the needs and everyday legal implications of executive-level business decision making. After working with these business leaders, Ashleigh decided the best move for her to make was to enroll in law school at Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law).
During law school, Ashleigh excelled academically, and served as the Business Editor of the Law Review. Her article, All In With Jack High: DiCristina as the Final Surge to Federally Legalize Online Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, was published in Volume, Number 3, of the Spring 2014 publishing of the Law Review.
After graduating from Texas A&M University School of Law, she worked as an associate attorney for one year a real estate law firm in Colleyville, Texas, and soon after formed Renfro Hausheer, PLLC, with her friend and colleague, Derek Hausheer. Since forming their firm, Ashleigh has received numerous awards and has spoken at various local events geared towards assisting local real estate investors in their endeavors.
Ashleigh’s practice focuses primarily on transactional matters related to residential real estate, but she also focuses on foreclosure law, mortgage servicing laws under Dodd-Frank, and landlord-tenant issues. And her experience in the private sector just prior to law school has allowed her to assist many local businesses with an array of legal matters.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys golfing and any other outdoor activity, and has recently discovered her “green-thumb” as a greenhouse vegetable gardener. She also keeps busy chasing after her two dogs: Weenerz, the slightly obese geriatric dachshund, and Mosis (pronounced: Mo-Sis), the rambunctious Scotchie (Scottish terrier/chihuahua mix).

I hired Ashleigh to help me with a seller-financed residential property problem. I was the seller and the borrower had become delinquent on payments. Ashleigh's legal expertise and excellent communication skills helped lead to my receiving payoff of the note. I highly recommend her.
