Steven Daniel Monte

Hired Steven to help me with a minor ticket in Wise county, as he was supposed to be familiar with the county. He failed to show and I ended up with not one but two failure to appear citations on top of the ticket he was supposed to help with. This TRIPLED my fines. When I last spoke with him he... told me not to worry he would look into things and get back to me. I haven't heard from him and my multiple attempts to contact him have left no choice but to call the State Bar. DO NOT give this man your money. He clearly just wants the cash and has no intention of helping.

Seems to be in contact easily until you pay. Then is VERY very hard to get a hold of, and almost certainly will not return a phone call. Will respond to texts after constant pestering. Fails to inform you of court dates, procedures, forms, etc. I ended up with a failure to appear and a warrant for my... arrest for a simple speeding ticket he was supposed to go to court for me. In the end I had to take deferred disposition and STILL pay with no evidence he stepped foot in court on my behalf. From August to December it has been a constant battle to get Steven Monte to communicate and work for or with me. Steer CLEAR.

I paid Mr. Monte to take care of a traffic ticket. I never heard from him again even after attempts to contact him. My ticket went into warrant. I paid $431.75 to take care of the warrant. I finally got in touch with Mr. Monte and he said he would reimburse me for the fine. I now can not reach Mr. Mo...nte as he will not answer his phone or call me back. I am in the process of reporting him to the Bar Association. I will get satisfaction!
