Charges were dismissed.

Nick was my court appointed attorney in regards to an mis. asult charge. He was able to speak with the judge who agreed to dismiss the charges once an anger management course was completed. I went to court 2x, once to agree to anger management and the second to prove I was attending the classes. Once... completed I met with Nick to give completion certificate and he took care of the rest. Nick was always able to be reached when needed and had fast response time. My only negative is the wait times to see the judge which I can not say was his fault as so many "hearings" at one time. He was very polite and very business like structured, it was in and out once we were able to go in front of the judge. Thank you Nick for being able to help.

TERRIBLE ATTORNEY!!!

I recently hired Nick Zoes to represent my fiancé in a possesion of marijuana under 2 oz case wich is a class b misdemeanor, first off he missed his first court date. Then he was an hour and a half late to my fiancé's 2nd court date. He did not have any knowledge of what exactly was going on with my ...fiancé case, he didn't know that my fiancé was a trustee and he also lied to our family about what happened in the court room and said he was going to trial. NICK ZOES IS AN UNRESPONSIVE HABITUAL LIAR!! He also rescheduled a 3rd court date and never showed. ALL HE DOES IS REQUEST FUNDS THAT ARE NOT NEEDED NOR REQUIRED. He does not keep you updated and he does not check files and know his cases before coming to court.

Horrible Attorney

If you currently have or develop a Dallas jurisdictional legal case and you need an attorney, DO NOT hire Nick Zoes. He practices general law but focuses on minor criminal cases. He basically lives at the Dallas Country courthouse, puddle jumping cases, trying to sign as many as he can and way more t...han he can handle appropriately. This is a typical scenario with this attorney: Little to NO communication prior to court date You get a court date, it's going to be set for 9:30am in whatever court. Again, no communication prior to the court date. You arrive for your court date by the specified time. Nick Zoes is no where to be found. Also, no communication. After an hour, you text him (he prefers to do business by text only) He tells you he's on his way (you know he's in the courthouse because seriously, he lives there) An hour or two later he finally wanders over to you. At this point, he's probably done nothing on your case, and you've probably paid him $500-1000 just to have him on your case. However, the first thing he's going to do is ask you for more money. He doesn't say hello, doesn't ask how you're doing, doesn't discuss the case. It's "When and how much can you pay me?" If you can't pay him anything then and he doesn't like what you can afford, he will "advise" you to enter an agreed plea of guilty. I've dealt with lawyer for almost a year on a 4 yr old misdemeanor case. I've paid him over $1,000 and ALL he has done is reset the case hearing date FIVE times. That's it. He's not requested a trial, he's not requested a dismissal, he's not requested ANYTHING and he also has never really discussed my case or any options with me. The above scenario is exactly how my interactions with this idiot have transpired all this time. I'll be filing a complaint with the state bar because this guy is not practicing law. Even after you pay him, he doesn't discuss the case, just sets a court date and wastes your time only to show up and ask for more money. Be warned.
