Biography
A Dallas native, Grant returned to Dallas after after attending college and law school at OU and Emory University. Grant practices family law and criminal defense. His family law practice includes handling divorces, custody cases, and cases involving family violence. He has handled agreed divorces and highly contested divorces, ranging from couples with relatively simply estates to multi-million dollar estates. Grant's criminal defense practice involves representing clients who have been alleged to have committed family violence. He has also successfully defended clients who have been charged with assault, theft and driving while intoxicated.
After practicing family law and civil litigation under two experienced attorneys, Grant founded his own firm so that he could concentrate on the areas of law that allows him to help regular people with life impacting legal issues such as family law problems and criminal charges. After practicing on his own, Grant joined Duffee + Eitzen, which is a prestigious family law firm with offices in Dallas and Collin counties.
Grant regularly attends family law and criminal defense seminars, such as advanced courses on blood and breath analysis in DWI investigations. Grant attended the police academy at Eastland College and was certified in preforming field sobriety tests. Grant knows how to highlight the weaknesses in police officers' investigations and is not afraid to try a case in court. In fact, Grant has worked for and successfully tried cases with some of the most prominent criminal defense and DWI attorneys in Texas.
