I did research prior to filing and choosing which firm I would go with. I could not be more pleased with my decision. I worked with both Mark and Derek. Derek worked up my petition and handled everything up to the court date. Due to the court I was filing, Mark was the attorney the day of. ... They were incredibly relatable and yet very professional and have a level of integrity that isn't stereotypically attributed to attorneys. They made things easy on me and everything ran smoothly despite my extreme anxiety over the whole thing. I recommend having all your ducks in a row (all required information, ie. Creditor list, income information, expense list...ready and saved/backed up) before the last minute. I found that, in doing so, it made both of our 'jobs' easier. I also recommend asking questions so you understand what is needed and/or happening. Derek does an excellent job of giving you feedback and status updates at each step in the process. His email communications contained information that seemed to anticipate any potential issues. I recommend keeping all of your correspondence in one place.
