Aubrey Preston Boswell

Aubrey Boswell is an attorney and CPA. He began his career after law school in 2009 at an accounting firm in Dallas. He later transitioned to a boutique law firm where he applied his accounting background to create sophisticated estate plans for clients, with an emphasis on reducing potential estate tax at death. His work also included helping business owners create succession plans for their businesses and assisting in probating of some of the largest estates in the country.

Today, Mr. Boswell practices at Tarleton + Boswell, PLLC located in Dallas, Texas. He focuses exclusively on estate planning and probate matters. He helps clients accomplish their vision for their family, wealth, and business, utilizing creative estate and gifting strategies. He counsels clients to help them understand their options and make decisions that give meaning and thoughtfulness to their legacy. When probating an estate, he applies the same amount of care to navigate clients through the legal process of administering an estate.

Mr. Boswell is passionate about simplicity. He has experienced too many clients with estate plans that are not well understood by the client and are unnecessarily convoluted. He believes attorneys have a duty to bring clarity to complexity.

Mr. Boswell was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Dallas Estate Planning Council. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Texas Society of CPAs, and the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs.
