30 minute free consultation, more like 30 seconds and hanging up on me
I have to give it to Tom...he was very quick to call me back after I left him a brief voicemail; however, he was also quick to hang up on me mid-sentence within the first minute or so of our 30 minute free consultation.
AVVO is a wonderful resource and does a great job of catching fake "client" reviews before they get posted, but this false "client" review seems to have gotten past the moderators. This reviewer was never a client, and in fact never even had a consultation with our firm. This individual called and asked about a situation that was well outside of our practice area, so I referred this person back to AVVO to find a lawyer that was a better fit (this was after I returned the original phone call right away, which I always do). This review even confirms that it is not legitimate as the person was never a "client" and never even had a consultation with our firm. The caller wanted information on a topic that was not something that our firm handles and thus was referred elsewhere. And of course I did not hang up on this person, as noted, I referred the person back to AVVO to find a firm that handles the type of legal matter at issue. I would respectfully suggest that readers compare this fictitious "client review" to the legitimate reviews from our real clients on our AVVO profile to get a better idea of how our firm handles our cases and treats our actual clients.
