Dismissed - Very good experience

I was skeptical at first as I found Mr. Thomas online but he had good reviews. Once we got into the process My skepticism died down very quickly as he is very professional and overall kept me in the loop on every change and I could contact his office at any time and they would always get back to me s...ame day. Fantastic experience would definitely use again.

Have never worked with better

An 80-year-old family member, impacted by stroke, is facing twelve credit-card collectors and a quarter-million in debts she can never pay. We asked her most aggressive creditor and their legal firm for forbearance; they filed a lawsuit instead, gave us 21 days to figure out a process none of us unde...rstood. Tom took the case. Sixty days later the creditor dismissed it. Don't know what Tom did, but would not be surprised if the bad guys changed their names and phone numbers. Trust me, Tom is your guy if you have the kind of problems we do.

My case has just started....

I was just sued by Midland credit. I searched Avvo for a good attorney. Many of the attorneys I found wanted to charge an hourly rate and as you all probably know paying 250 an hour for a case such as a debt lawsuit can quickly add up. I contacted one attorney and they wanted 2 hours up front and ...that would be the answer to the court after service. After that they would bill per hour. And knowing most attorneys I am sure it could easily run 20 hours. This is when I found Tom Thomas II. I am in Houston and he's in Dallas, however I looked up his impeccable reviews on AVVO, and I knew he was the attorney for me. I spoke to Tom before I was even served and he said "well there's not much to do until you are served." I then waited a few weeks to get served and a week before service happened (I arranged to get served on a certain day), I called Tom up again to find out his rate. He charges a FLAT FEE and it's an affordable fee. I have seen other attorneys charge flat fees and they don't even come close to Tom's fee. He gives you an affordable payment plan so you aren't paying it all at once. Lastly he is patient and answers every email and every phone call for any questions you may have. Would I suggest him if you have been sued by a debt collector??? ABSOLUTELY!!! Don't go default and have your bank account levied. Hire an experienced debt attorney who can protect you. Going at it alone may also be too much. It is just worth paying Tom to do the work for you.

Collection company

Mr. Thomas Is just plain and simple a GREAT lawyer, he handled my case quick and painlessly. I was asked to send a couple of papers after he himself took my call and explained how everything will work and the steps needed to be taken to resolve my issue with a collection company, he kept me in the lo...op with updates and as expected won my case. I am 110% satisfy with the service he provided that I will have no hesitation what so ever to contact him again if I ever need legal help.
