I appreciate the "back hand" compliment from this client but he failed to mention a few items. Sometimes people take for granted that a serious felony is dismissed but if you're familiar with the legal system, it's very hard to get no probation, no jail time, no classes, etc. His husband called the DA's office weekly stating that he wanted him to go to prison. The DA on his case changed at least 4 times and while he was "staying" on me, he wasn't as aggressive with his payments. He was either slow paying or not paying at all. He states that it took 8 months to have his case dismissed, he also had 8 months to pay off the balance and left owing a few thousand dollars.
