We won the uphill battle. Couldn't have done it without Estrada.

I'll begin my review by stating the following: We won a settlement. Dan Estrada helped me achieve 99% more than their initial pittance offer (I did not make this number up, I actually whipped out a calculator to get the total percentage). With Estrada's help, the uphill battle became much more mana...geable. He kept me sane, and kept me on track on how to present my case. He also gave me realistic answers - he didn't mince with words and gave me the real facts of what we were facing, what we would have to prepare, best and worst case scenarios. And a definite plus on his part, he also kept me from going way off the OCD charts by keeping me focused on what to prepare and what to leave on the backburner. I spoke with several recommended lawyers from friends, associates and coworkers, and yet none of them were willing to take this case due to the difficulty. Estrada decided to take it on, and considered it a challenge. In the end, after several months of back and forth between us and the insurance lawyers, we came to a settlement with 100% of the policy limits to be paid towards my damages. I would highly recommend Dan Estrada's services to any friends and family who may find themselves in need of legal help. I'm certainly glad I did.

The best and honest attorney

Mr. Dan Estrada has been a great and honest lawyer. When my husband was held by ICE it was really hard to find an honest lawyer that could help us through the process. Mr. Estrada was able to release my husband from jail in a week without a fine! He terminate his deportation case and help get a legal... status. He's still helping us obtain a legal permanent residence. He gave me peace of mind. I don't know what would I do if my husband got deported and leaving me with a toddler and a 3 month old baby. We are so truly thankful with him, he has been very professional and knowledgeable lawyer. Throughout this 4 years he has never passed our case to his legal assistance. Our case was treated directly with him. Therefore, we highly recommend Dan Estrada he is the best lawyer you can hire and he would help you!

Wonderful, personal, diligent service.

Mr. Estrada has been not only the best lawyer we've hired, but the best we've consulted with. He has provided an overall better experience than any of our friend's lawyers (we know a lot of people working through immigration cases). My husband was suddenly detained by ICE for illegal entry into the U...S at the beginning of April, 2012. Naturally, I desperately called the firm we'd been working with to find out what we could d do to get him released. We had gotten an I-130 petition approved, and thought we were pretty much home safe. I waited several days to hear back from a legal assistant who informed me that I needed to schedule an appointment with the attorney to discuss how to proceed. I made the appointment and when it came I drove the hour from my house to downtown Dallas, waited for twenty minutes in the waiting area, and upon finally speaking with the attorney was informed that the best chance my husband had was to sign a voluntary departure and continue his case from Mexico. I was appalled, because we had a 3 month old baby , a two year old, and a four year old. With three children, and with my husband being the primary bread-winner there was no way I would have been able to make it. We immediately began looking for another attorney, and after several phone consultations with many accredited Dallas-based attorneys my mother found Estrada Law. I believe she did so online via a search for state-certified immigration specialists. He, as I mentioned above, was exactly what we needed. He's been handling our case now for about a year and has worked diligently on doing everything he's promised. When my husband was detained we had a little over $1,500 in savings and i used 1/3 of that just getting through the first few weeks. Mr. Estrada was understanding of our situation and charged us only a small retainer. He got my husband released from ICE custody within just weeks of hiring him and has had a minor criminal charge dropped from our case. He has kept us hopeful when things seemed hopeless, and is optimistic about getting my husband's order of removal lifted. I have been especially impressed with his flexibility and personal involvement with us as clients. As I said, we've been working with Mr. Estrada for about a year and I have only spoken with an assistant once. He has never failed to respond to any emails or texts or calls to his personal cell. I have already recommended him to friends and family. We are anxious to put all of our immigration issues far behind us and start moving forward with plans and dreams of normalcy. Mr. Estrada is getting us there.

Money well spent- adjustment successful and easy.

Dan Estrada and his team put together an excellent case and packet for my application for permanent residency. The final interview took less than 15 minutes when the immigration officer reviewed my application papers and saw that my marriage was well backed up with supporting material. He is easy to ...talk to and is a straight shooter- you'll get honesty but not without an easy personal touch. I highly recommend Dan as a lawyer and advocate for your case.

Not reliable, do not hire this lawyer for any case due to slip and fall

Not reliable, do not recommend to anybody. Had a firm in Houston, good lawyers to litigate in my case; slipped and fell in Walmart , Mr. Estrada insisted in taking the case, he promised me he had experience negotiating with Walmart. To be specific, he wanted me to accept $1,500.00 to split it in th...ree, him, doctors and myself! I gave up on him and had to live with my back pain. There’s also a video from the store very explicit but he did not have the time to fight my case. I regret for giving my case to Mr. Estrada. Don’t do the same error, you’ll regret it. No good, 1 out of 10 is my rating for him.

Replied last November 07, 2017

Ms. CV: I regret that you were dissatisfied with my Law Office. You had already fired another Law firm before you came to me. In my 28 years of practice, I have never "insisted" to clients on taking their cases. From Sept. 2016 until April, 2017, I provided you with a lengthy explanation of the Texas premises liability laws and how your case would be affected by these laws. I obtained video surveillance footage from the defendant company that did not show any clear evidence of the area where you fell or the alleged water hazard that caused your fall. Over the 8 month period, I communicated with the defendant claims rep who believed that there was "no liability" but they offered you $1,500. As a general practice, I convey any and all settlement offers to my clients, we discuss the offers, and I always leave the decision to accept or reject the offer to the client. I NEVER make this decision for the client. I did not tell you to accept this offer. You claimed very serious injuries to your body and also stated that you needed a psychiatrist. I advised you that an attorney evaluates an injury case by investigating all aspects of medical diagnosis and prognosis for settlement purposes. In your case, it appeared that you believed it necessary to have additional medical care. As the defendant company made you a token offer, I informed you about filing a lawsuit and how long the litigation process would take (sometimes a period of two years after the lawsuit is filed) I would have continued working on your case had you given me the opportunity. I have had great success in liability cases against this defendant company in the past. I honored your request for a release letter so that you could find another lawyer on April 20, 2017 as you informed me that you had talked with a Houston lawyer. In this review you state that you had good lawyers 'to litigate" your case. I contacted the defendant claims rep on Nov. 3 who informed me that no Houston lawyer had contacted them and your claim was "denied" Again, I regret that you believed that you had to "give up" on my legal services. I have represented hundreds of clients and have pursued many of these cases successfully through years of Court Trials. I wish you the best of luck in your future pursuits. Dan Estrada
