Finally. A sense of relief from what could’ve been one of the worst events in my life. Thanks to Mr. Canton’s expertise and help, I can finally plan my life with some certainty. I can confidently make decisions and “settle” in a land that I could have been forced to leave. A few years ago, I received... a letter in the mail indicating that I am going through removal proceedings in the United States. As a lawful resident, it was the worst news I could ever ask for. There was a mistake done in the process that was definitely not our fault. I was banned from traveling to explore the world or see family that is near and dear to my heart. If I did step outside the borders, the US would have considered it self-deportation and I wouldn’t be able to get back to my life routine, family, and education. I won my case in 2021. I cried. I was able to keep my residency and apply for citizenship, and didn’t need to follow any “worse case” scenarios. I have a great life thanks to him. I FINALLY traveled, got married, settled but this time with no burden on my shoulders. I’m so thankful for knowledgeable people who change lives and that is why my review is long.
