Guardianships usually fall into two categories. One is when a child who has a disability such as autism or mental retardation becomes an adult (18 years). My clients are typically the parents who seek appointment as guardian of the child to manage the child's personal and financial affairs. The second involves elderly individuals who become incapacitated due to Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia and one the person's children needs to manage the parent's personal and financial affairs

I assist clients with Estate Administration from the simple to more complex. The type of administration will depend on factors such as the size of the estate, the type of assets the decedent owned, and whether or not the decedent left a valid Last Will and Testament or died Intestate (without a Will)

I can assist with business formation, contracts, employment issues and other matters that arise as you operate and grow your business

I usually draft a basic estate plan for clients. This includes a Last Will and Testament, a Power of Attorney for financial affairs, a Power of Attorney for medical matters, a HIPAA Authorization and a Designation of Guardian. Most people will benefit from a Will and these five additional documents. In some cases I can draft a trust if the client desires
