Biography
Shane Trawick joined the Jones Day New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2012. The NLG provides Jones Day's newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. Currently, Shane's practice is concentrated in commercial real estate, capital markets and energy law.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Shane externed for the chief justice of the California Supreme Court, where he gained experience working on real estate development, environmental regulation, banking, and criminal appellate review.
Shane is author of "Birth Control Sabotage as Domestic Violence: A Legal Response," 100 Calif. L. Rev. 721 (2012).
