Eric Putnam Haas

Eric P. Haas brings a decade of business litigation experience to Gardner Haas PLLC. Formerly with the national law firm Bickel & Brewer, Eric has represented clients in state and federal courts around the country, and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, in commercial matters involving claims for breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, bad faith, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, patent infringement, environmental damages, and securities law violations. With deep experience working on high-dollar, high risk “bet the business” cases at a sophisticated, complex practice, Eric understands what it takes to achieve the best possible results for his clients.

Super Lawyers Magazine recognized Eric as a Texas Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Texas each year.

Eric earned his juris doctor degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a member of the SMU Law Review Association Board of Editors and the Order of the Coif. He also holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Baylor University, where he graduated cum laude, and was a member of the Business Excellence Scholarship Team, the Financial Management Association Honor Society, and the Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma.
