My child’s father decided to put himself on child support! (Sounds easy, however...he made it complicated by hiring an attorney. I questioned: Why would you hire an attorney to put yourself on child support...(THATS FREE..JUST GO ONLINE). I was summoned to go to court, and when i got there , his atto...rney was there and it became a custody battle. COMPLETE SHOCK TO ME ....Then it became a case of , SEEKING PATERNITY....I ran home cried...got online and googled Attorneys. I reached an attorney board web site, called and the lady (receptionist/ lawyer) told me that i needed EBONY, the lady who represented her in her divorce. -I met with ebony the very next day! She began to put things together, that i didn’t even think about. She was actually allowing him to see the pro's and con's. She stood as a mediator even when i was trying to be spiteful (she wouldn’t allow me to have that attitude). At the end of the day....he was so scared of Ebony, he backed down. So much truth came out! Drugs, illegal trades, tax invasion..(the real reason he took me to court).. Attorney Ebony did her research. And she kept quiet, never saying much (what the judge likes)...let him make a fool of himself....she wouldn’t even let me talk. We went to court and i was ready to tell and exploit him...but instead he exploited himself. The paper work said seeking paternity , he claimed that’s not true he would never say that, that is his daughter. Every other word became a lie….the JUDGE came up with her own conclusion. I might not have started this war, but WE finished it ! I didn’t ask for anything…. BUT I got it ALL! She refused to allow me to walk away with nothing, and paying her fees that he brought about on me, while still not aiding in supporting his child. Even though he doesn’t pay his dues ( it is on file)...it still adds up! I am stress free with structure. She is awesome, reasonable in price, and she did a lot for me. She knew i was a spiritual person *offered me prayer, guidance, and just encouragement. That was beyond her job. I walked in court with a friend , who had the best interest of me and my baby!
