Best Criminal Defense Attorney in the DFW Metroplex!

Needless to say no-one ever wants to hire a lawyer, but if you're faced with a situation that could haunt you for the rest of your life you definitely want the best. Well, I was faced with a DWI charge and I was more than terrified at the effect this could have on my life; I was in my early 20s with... my whole life ahead of me. By a twist of fate, I received a letter from Chris's office, the last one before making my decision on representation and I decided to go for one more consultation. I'm SO glad I did! Chris made me feel at ease (as much as humanly possible in this situation) and I had complete confidence in the fact that he actually cared about the situation I was in. After years of having to go through the process, Chris ultimately got me acquitted and my burden was lifted; I will be forever grateful for this. I have referred countless friends who fell into similar unfortunate circumstances, all who ended up seeing the same deep sense of trust in Chris Lewis. Thank you for everything Chris! You were definitely the right choice!

The Real Deal

Several years ago I was arrested for DWI. I began by hiring probably the most expensive DWI lawyer in my city, and was soon disheartened by how his office treated me. I quit the first attorney and hired Chris Lewis, and that decision ultimately saved me. From the outset, Chris had a strategy for m...y case that was insightful and practical. He evidently had the respect of judges and others in the courthouse, because his arguments convinced the judge to suppress nearly all of the evidence against me. The prosecutor finally dismissed the charges. Mr. Lewis could have done what so many mediocre lawyers do (the minimum), but instead he went to bat for me in a big way, and won my case. I am forever grateful. He is a shining example for others in his field; simply the best.

5 DWIs and still a free grandpa

Let me start my review of whom I consider the best attorney in the world. Christopher Lewis has defended me on two DWI arrests, one of which included a violation of a four year felony probation. I hired Chris in May 2007, for my fourth DWI. It was a felony in which I was facing a long time in the ...Texas Department of Corrections. He fought, tooth and nail, and I recieved four years probation. "Great job , Chris!". Unfortunately, I drove a friend to east Texas, where I picked up a fifth DWI on my way home. I was scared to death and feeling quite hopeless. Luckily, I made bond in Rusk County Texas. Then, I made a most miserable trip down I-20 to our home in the DFW area. Fortunately, my wife gave me a ride home, not a divorce. I called Chris the next day and told him the bad news. After getting over the initial shock of our conversation, Chris went into defense mode. After telling me everything I had to do to keep my freedom, I realized he was working two cases. I had the new DWI and the violations of the probation that Chris had gotten me 2 1/2 years earlier. I had to do a lot of work also, which I deserved, of course. Chris' assistant and staff were crucial in getting this insane incident behind me. He set up my bond for the probation violations, here, in Dallas, which was a miracle in itself. His assistant, Frank, and the entire office staff made calls, talked to bondsmen, Dallas probation officers, as well as judges and the courts in both counties. I was facing two to twenty years, with my less than perfect record. But, I still did not want to throw in the towel and neither did Chris, thank God. It was a tough task but after all the court dates, probation meetings, treatment programs, AA and, of course, money, it was well worth it. With his diligent hard work and numerous legal maneuvers, I still have my freedom today!

Second DUI

When arrested for DUI a second time, I thought my goose was thoroughly cooked. My career which I highly covet was in jeopardy pending a guilty verdict. I am not proud to admit that on this occasion, I sympathized with the decisions made by the arresting officer. I was less than optimistic about my... future to say the least. However after a consultation with Chris Lewis, I felt I had a felt a fighting chance. Chris understood the magnitude of my reality and assured me he'd do his best to take care of things. During the process, I was kept informed and never even had to make an appearance in court. Eventually, the case was dismissed. When I inquired to find out the how's and why's, Chris simply responded, "I put them in a bad position". Enough said. His unbelievable record which I am now part of speaks for itself. If you find yourself having made a similar mistake, please learn from it and don't hesitate to call Chris Lewis. Plus he's a cool dude!

"If I were ever in need of a criminal defense lawyer, Chris Lewis would be at the very top of the list. He is truly a lawyer's lawyer and a good guy too. He knows how to climb inside of the jury box and get the jury believing that he's an alternate juror. By the end of his case, the jury is already on his side. It's no huge surprise when the foreperson utters the golden words NOT GUILTY!"

"I first met Chris Lewis in 2001, when the two of us worked together at a large law firm. Chris has always impressed me with his can-do attitude. When Chris faces a challenging situation, he relishes the opportunity to prevail through hard work and "outside the box" thinking. But that alone cannot explain Chris's tremendous track record. Rather, I believe that Chris has routinely prevailed in seemingly unwinnable situations due to the fact that he is such a likable guy. A prosecutor or juror would be hard-pressed to say "no" to Chris. And this, coupled with his hard work and creativity, make him an extremely effective criminal defense lawyer. If I myself were ever charged with a crime, I would not hesitate to call upon Chris."
