Real Estate Lawyer

To Whom It May Concern: I’ve worked closely with Bryon Prescott for the last ten years and have known him for approximately fifteen years. We initially worked together for a Fortune 100 Company for which he was in-house counsel. During the last 10 years we had almost daily contact where he worked... as outside counsel for my company performing the majority of the real estate legal work including virtually every type of real estate transaction imaginable including acquisitions, foreclosures, dispositions, lease transactions, tenant disputes, title claims, auctions, contracts, debt financing, insurance claims, etc. etc. etc. His advice, counsel, expertise, ethics, and professionalism have been above reproach. Byron’s attention to detail and his thorough understanding of the law and the complexity of our transactions provided my company infinite advantages, which resulted in significant economic benefits. Byron’s negotiating skills are unparalleled and his uncompromising commitment to the success and wellbeing of my company and employees is unmatched. He has the uncanny ability to anticipate the unexpected, which has saved my company countless capital funds as well as mitigated tremendous exposure over the years. He is extremely organized and efficient which allows him to oversee countless transactions at one time. His attention to detail is unmatched. Over the decade, he has represented my company in literally hundreds of sales transactions and several hundreds of lease transactions along with hundreds of other transactions. His breadth of knowledge and expertise were evident in every transaction. Byron is an excellent attorney and is an even better person. He has the ability to get the best out of all parties in a transaction including not only his client, but also the opposing counsel, which has the effect of defusing confrontational situations and facilitating transactions. Byron is skilled at making deals happen, instead of killing deals, which is instrumental in my business. He knows how to efficiently complete transactions, regardless of how unlikely they may appear or the obstacles encountered as the process unwinds. His integrity and ethics are evident in everything that he does including his work product, negotiations skills, respect for all parties and even in his billings. Byron is an outstanding attorney as well as an extremely canny, morally upright and ethical man. I know without a doubt that he will not only have the best interest of my company in mind but will also watch out for my best interest. You could not hire a better attorney for your company. Should you have any further questions about Byron, I will be happy to discuss more of his attributes at length. Sincerely, Doug

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
