Felt more like a way rack up charges than actually helping me

One of the first thing they did was push me to set up a recurring credit card payment for their services. While this seemed odd at first, it quickly became clear that this was their strategy to bill as much as possible without much regard for the progress or outcome of the case. The amount of time sp...ent on unnecessary paperwork, phone calls, and emails — often with little or no progress — felt more like a way to rack up charges than actually helping me or my children through the process.

Client

I would not recommend this lawyer. Her work was incomplete. The lawyer failed to advise me of the status of the case, and failed to engage with the opposing counsel. She seemed pre-occupied and passed me off to lesser qualified and less aggressive lawyers. They would call on Friday afternoons to... generate billings.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
