Aimee Oleson maintains a diverse litigation practice focusing on complex business and tort litigation, energy-related litigation, construction, and appellate work. Ms. Oleson also has extensive experience representing third party administrators, non-profit entities, and membership organizations. She has experience prosecuting and defending actions in both state and federal proceedings across the country. • Ms. Oleson is experienced with all types of jurisdictional issues. She has successfully defended clients on jurisdictional grounds in both state and federal courts across the country.
• Ms. Oleson is proficient in obtaining injunctive relief and other extraordinary remedies, including temporary restraining orders and pre-judgment writs of garnishment. She has successfully obtained injunctive relief for banks, financial institutions, and an insurance company seeking to recover stolen funds.
• Ms. Oleson has extensive experience representing clients in multi-party litigation, including class action and MDL proceedings. She is co-counsel for association defendants in multi-district litigation that includes class action cases in various states, including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas.
• Ms. Oleson successfully obtained dismissals and judgments in favor of multiple defendants in litigation involving claims of fraud, negligence, and breaches of fiduciary duty in state and federal court actions through appeal.
• Ms. Oleson has represented clients before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the Fifth Circuit, and the Texas and California Courts of Appeals.
• Ms. Oleson also represents clients in litigation related to alleged fraud in the inducement of oil and gas leases in the Barnett Shale.
