"Michael does criminal law because this is an area that is passionate to him. I have known him for over 20 years and this area has always been his passion. Criminal law is tough because defendant's often feel like the "deck is stacked" for the State. Despite this natural challenge, he still works hard for his clients. He keeps up with recent trends and issues so that he can effectively represent his clients. What I think helps him stand out is that he is strait forward with his clients. He never takes a huge fee, only to tell his client a week later, "Oh...there is nothing I can do for you." If he can do something, he will do his best to that goal. If he knows the case has issues, he will shoot strait. I have known a defense attorney or two who will give false promises to clients, which I think is cruel. Michael is strait forward because he is that compassionate about the people he wants to help."
