Criminal Defense 75%

My experience included being lead counsel in over forty felony and misdemeanor jury trials. I feel a duty to do my part to ensure people get competent legal counsel when accused of a crime.

DUI and DWI 25%

I did several DWI jury trials as a young lawyer. I recently decided to spend my remaining years as a lawyer specializing in this area and teaching law clerks how to handle these type of cases. This includes advanced training in science and law.

Excellent Experience

I feel good about Michael Ray Harris. He replied to my question posted on Avvo.com along with a few other attorneys. I liked his response and emailed him asking him to contact me the next day as I would only be in town one more day. He promptly called me at 9 am. We had a lengthy discussion that cu...lminated in reaching an agreement to hire him to represent me in a dispute that is work related. I felt at my wits end in a lot of ways and dint know where to turn for help. This move to try Avvo.com was sort of a last ditch effort. I am very pleased with both.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
