I will be forever grateful for the hard work and diligence of Carla Earwood and her paralegal Norman James. A few years back, I was referred to Carla via my employee assistance program. I knew from our very first conversation that we would be a good match. She absorbed a ton of info from me and I gen...uinely felt like she was empathetic of my situation. I retained Carla Earwood in 2009. She helped me with all the paperwork, and stuck with me through losses because of no fault of hers. She never lost faith that I would one day win. I moved to Georgia in 2015 pretty much giving up on my disability, but she never did. She appealed time and time with m...ore documentation. In june of 2020, during the pandemic, I had my last hearing over the phone with Mrs Earwood and the judge. It didn't take a month before I was approved. Now, they don't normally take that long, and I was, I'm sure the longest ongoing case she ever had, but she never let me down. Carla and Norm have been superb. I have had some stress using attorneys before that never did what they said. This is NOT the case with Carla and Norm. They do what they say they are going to every time and you don't have to ask but once. If you need to get Social Security Disability, I absolutel...y recommend Carla. She worked for Social Security so she knows how it works and what to do. She told me she could get me approved but just didn't know when in the process. We had to go all the way to a trial and she was impressive. She was organized and prepared. We won in about ten minutes! Carla is direct and factual and donated whatever time was needed to me and my case. Norman was always available to assist when Carla was in court. They are a great team. Both are very kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. They made a very stressful and lengthy ( almost 3 year) experience a pleasant experience.
