Biography
I am a former Judge and Assistant District Attorney/Prosecutor. I have over 40 years experience. I have been a candidate for the State Senate. I do not plead clients guilty to have spoken at many seminars teaching other attorneys about dwi. I have won more dwi cases than I can remember and most of them were to a jury. Don't let a plea lawyer plead you guilty. I have been a candidate for Dallas County Commisoner. Many judges have told me that in their opinion I am the best attorney in front of a jury they have ever seen. In 1984 I tried a civil injury case and the jury awarded me a verdict of a quarter million dollars. Prior to trial I was offered $. After forty years practice I have more experience than ninety five percent of the attorneys I see every day. I have spoken at many seminars where attorneys are taught how to try Dwi cases. Outstanding DWI lawyer
Tom represented me in a DWI case in Rockwall County and I was found Not Guilty. If you need DWI representation in the Dallas area Tom is one of the best in the business. He knows the law and just flat out gets results.

You could do better
Very disappointed with the service I received from Mr. Hooton. He missed some court dates, was late for some, and just didn't seem very confident. In court, while he was questioning the officer, the paper in his hand was shaking. I found it odd that in every one of the police tests/ parameters for...

Replied last May 10, 2013This client contacted me some two years after the trial and wanted me to go to court for him in order to get an order to remove the interlock on his car that would require a hearing in front of the Judge. I quoted a very reasonable fee. He said that he wanted me to do it for nothing. I told him I would not do that and he got very angry and wrote this comment. I tried this case to a jury and they did find him guilty.
